Textie is a free Text messaging app from the  makers of  recently twitter Inc. acquired, Tweetie for iPhone.This app is similar to the native iPhone messaging engine with  threaded messaging which closely resemble a chat window.Sending group messages with photos is yet another notable feature.

Once you link your cell number with Textie by entering the confirmation code the app sends to your mobile, you can start texting the same way you would do with the iPhone messaging tool.
