Gmail Service Down with Temporary Error 502

Gmail one of best google email service and used by millions and billons of user seems to have some problem. Today when users tried to login to their Gmail account they all started seeing Temporary Error 502.

Gmail official blog has posted about this, with following message,

“We’re sorry, but your Gmail account is currently experiencing errors. You won’t be able to use your account while these errors last, but don’t worry, your account data and messages are safe. Our engineers are working to resolve this issue. Please try accessing your account again in a few minutes.”

However this issue is faced by only subset of people, some of them are still able to login using html version, with mobile IMAP, POP and iGoogle but won’t be able to send or receive any message.

The Problem seems to be resolved now as per message left on Gmail Google group.
