Control Ad Unit Font Family [Google Adsense New Feature]

One of key point in Adsense optimization tips from Google is to have ad format and color that match well with your website or blog. Google Adsense does let you to select ad unit size, color but selecting font family for ad text wasn’t available until today. There have been many requests from Adsense publishers for more control over Ad unit.
After listening to publishers request, today Adsense team has announced one new feature which is going to give complete control over font face of ad unit. You can now change the font face of the text in ad units on pages in Latin-character languages.
Currently Google Adsense only allows you to choose between Arial, Times, and Verdana font faces. All ad font face by default are set to ‘Standard AdSense font family’ but you can change it by accessing ‘Ad Display Preference’ section of your Account Settings page.

So start experimenting with new font face for your ad unit to find the best combination for your sites. Who knows this may increase your Adsense CTR value.
