Fix Windows 7 Beta 1 MP3 Corruption Bug in WMP 12 with KB961367 Update

Early today we posted about leaked Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 7000 64 bit version but all those users egger to test windows 7 beta 1 might not be aware of Windows 7 beta 1 MP3 corruption bug. So what is this Windows 7 MP3 Corruption bug ? Approximately 2-3 seconds will get shaved off at the beginning of MP3s if you have set your Windows Media Player 12 settings to retrieve information from the internet and update files. The default configuration for WMP12 sets this if you use the “express” option during setup.
This has been confirmed by Microsoft spokesperson and subsequent update KB961367 has been released today by Microsoft TechNet to fix windows 7 Beta 1 MP3 bug. The download link for update KB961367 is only available to TechNet subscriber. But you can download using below links.
