Why are you doing this? Surely you don’t want want to remove the feedback. Microsoft is releasing Windows 7 as a beta so we can help make their program better! Why don’t you help too?

This program DOES NOT WORK.
You run it as ADMINISTRATOR and nothing happens except : Error 9999 and “unexpected error”.
Meaning it could have loaded a virus.

Wouldn’t a better way be to do this:

1. Go into your BIOS and turn back the date as far as you can (if you are that desperate to run a beta forever)

2. After setting back the date, then install Windows 7 beta.

Then it shouldn’t expire, but I think when you activate it, Microsoft will do something to it to make it say it is not genuine?

Or just turn the clock back as 1 July 2009 approaches.

I have installed windows 7 beta build 6956. After installing it CD/DVD drive has stopped working permanently. I want to uninstall it. There is no other OS installed along with Windows 7. Please give me suggestion.

I installed this patch on Windows 7 beta build 7000 and then set my date ahead 1 year and rebooted. It still worked after turning the date ahead. Winver didn’t change though.

Has anyone given this further testing? I have a feeling Windows 7 won’t be on sale in July when our beta Win7 expires.
It would suck to have to use XP again.

Installing this patch really stops the expiration, but the problem is that you will get a nag screen that says “This computer is not running genuine Windows” whenever you try to use Control Panel.

Lots of people have reported this problem. I suppose it isn’t that big of a deal. It might be worth accepting the nag screen until Win7 RTM comes out.

Install TimerNuke REMOVES the expiration date.

Trust me, it works. I turned ahead the BIOS date on my computer by 1 or 2 years and my Windows 7 beta was still working!

Don’t be confused. Install TimerNuke now. :-)

Good luck.

TimerNuke doesn’t work as I thought previously. TimerNuke does not stop Windows 7 beta from shutting down every 2 hours, but it seems to prevent it from being deactivated. Anyway, Windows 7 RTM (final, full OEM version) is available on torrents and in pirate shops, so get that. lol

lol.. this stuff works. You still need to activate it though and that’s easy. Go to the pirate bay and look for “7Loader v1.2″ by Orbit30. That works!

Excellent OS!
