Before Microsoft announce about Windows 7 beta 1 at CSE conference, Windows 7 beta 1 Build 7000 Got leaked on torrents. This is not first time when product from Microsoft development lab has been leaked on internet. Earlier build of windows 7 too got leaked on torrents like this.

Anyways I suppose most of users have already downloaded Windows 7 Beta 1 or still downloading windows 7 beta 1. Once you install Windows 7 Beta 1 you will notice two things first one watermark on desktop which shows “Windows 7 For Testing Purpose only build 7000” and second one is Send Feedback Link at the top of every opened window.

I am quite sure that many users will be expecting to remove this annoying features however there is not built in option in windows 7 which can let you to disable or remove these features. We have already covered how to remove send feedback link from Windows 7 Pre-Beta build 6956 which may not be applicable for Windows 7 Beta 1.

The previous release solution to remove “Send feedback” link works in build 7000, but you must reboot your machine to apply changes

It doesn’t work!! i get an error says 9999 and then Error. Im logged in as Admin, only have one account.. anyone know how to get this to work or is this just a flop?
