Now here is some thing surprising for iPhone & iPod Touch jailbreakers, iPhone Dev team has released redefined version of redsn0w. Previously redsn0w was soft jailbreak tool only for iPod Touch 2G and it was semi-tethered jailbreak.

The latest version of redsn0w 0.7 is an easy to use, multi-platform, multi-device jailbreaking and unlocking tool for the iPhone 2G (original iPhone), the iPhone 3G (but not the 3GS) for both Mac OS X & Windows users. After release of pwnagetool 3.0 for Mac many windows users were disappointed but this surprise will make them happy as Redsn0w 0.7 provided similar functionality like QuickPWN.

Important Points

1. Don’t use Redsn0w if you have iPhone 3G 3.0 unlocked with Yellowsn0w.

2. You can use Redsn0w with iPhone 1 Generation with 3.0 firmware

3. Redsn0w will not work on iPhone 3GS
