Finally Windows Live Movie Maker is out of beta and final version of Windows Live Movie Maker 14 (Build 14.0.8091.0730) is released and available for download for Windows 7 & Vista. Microsoft hasn’t shipped any video editing software with Windows 7 and Movie Maker is the only option for Windows 7 users.
Windows Live Movie Maker is part of Windows Live Essentials and Movie Maker 14 includes many features along with Office 2007 like Ribbon toolbar. Movie Maker 14 also support Windows 7 Jump lists. Now you can also upload videos straight to Youtube via Movie maker.

I have a problem with Windows Live Movie Maker 14 Offline Installer. When I’m installing into my computer, a crash program that said “WLXPhotoBase.dll is missing”. Please, how I can fix it ? thankyou. so much
Forget this stand alone WLMM file, won’t work by only installing this (tested on win7).
You need to install the custom version of windows live setup (the 1.09MB version, not the big 50MB version), and choose to install the movie maker. The reason why the stand alone won’t work is because besides the MM itself, it will also install a bunch of other things also, like the photo gallery (the dll file is from that I think).
Hello people,
I have a very persistand problem wit WMM 14 and Windows 7 (RTM).
It was working for a short while, and now it freezes everytime I’m trying to use it.
Uninstalling and re-installing doesn’t help.
I got used to the ribbon style, so I wonder if anyone has an idea what I could try / look for to fix that please ?
Thank you very much in advance !

I haven’t change the window yet, and you already screwed up the WMM, lol
If you don’t need the library, you can use media player classic instead.
Hi, I’m not sure if I understand what you mean.
But I seem to have found a remedy for this problem, mentioned above.
1. Updated my graphics driver from 26.02.09 to 27.09.09 (GF 9300)
2. Switched Aero off
Looks like it’s working now.
The problem seems to be that what Microsoft WANT you to do is install the entire Windows Live package. I also tried to install a standalone Movie Maker and got the same “dll missing” error. The Microsoft website says you can install just the wanted components of Live Essentials so it tricks you into thinking you can just get Movie Maker. But the problem with doing that is that it inevitably forces you to “update” Messenger to the totally cr*p new version which is just unbelievably awful. So does anyone have a solution?
As a whole ???????? quite good… But if to download appendices to it functions much better. They can be found on http:// http://www.usemeplz.com
