Add a “Snooze” button in your Gmail with Streak

There are times when we need to look at an email again or wait for someone to reply to your email. Sure, you can put them in the ‘starred’ tab but it has a chance of getting neglected. Streak, however has come up with a new Google Chrome extension that gives you the ability to hide an email and have it come back later in your inbox. It comes back just like any new message would.

With Streak, you can snooze an email while you’re composing it. This is very useful considering the fact that you want an reminder for that email and follow up easily if the recipient hasn’t responded yet. It also has a feature that shows all the message you’ve sent and didn’t get a reply to.

Streak is more of a CRM tool with a lot of extra features like email tracking, text expansion, easy scheduling and more. It’s available for people using Google Chrome and also has an IOS app. Streak is a free app but you need to permit a lot of permissions to your Gmail account.

Yes, you’d be concerned about your account’s security. To this, the company mentioned

“We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information except in accordance with this policy. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.”
