Quick Research: Find Information Within A Single Tab

Internet is a great resource to learn about any topic that comes in your mind. At times, you may come across certain terms or phrases which doesn’t click your mind and you have no clue what it means. This is the annoying part, the only option you have is to open a new tab and search for that term. Similarly, there are chances that you come across a number of terms; as a result you may end up with a dozen tabs. To help you solve the problem is a very simple extension known as Quick Research.

Quick Research for Google Chrome is a nifty little extension that helps you search the web without opening a new tab. You can search Google, Yahoo, YouTube and find images within the same tab. Navigate to Chrome Web Store and install the extension. Once installed, a new globe icon will appear in your extensions area. Clicking on it will show you a simple interface which can be used to search the web without leaving the current tab.

Interestingly, it will even open the search results in the same popup window. If you want, you can even click on the “popup” button and it will open the search results as a new Window.
