How To Attach Files From Different Cloud Storages To Gmail Easily

Today Cloud Storage has become one of the primary storage areas where all the important data are taken a backup for accessing it from anywhere in the world. Recently I wrote about a new web application which acts as hub for all your cloud data. Also about an Android app, which lets you access all your cloud data right from the Smartphone. Today I came with a new extension for Chrome, which lets you attach files from different cloud services to Gmail easily.

Since it has become a cloud storage everywhere and many cloud applications are already giving 25 GB of storage for free, people started moving to cloud based applications. So while sending an email, instead of downloading your data from the cloud and attaching it to your email, you can use this simple chrome extension Cloudy for Gmail, to attach files from Cloud storages quickly.

You can download Cloudy using the link at the end of this post. Once you install the extension you will get the cloud icon at the top right corner of your browser and log into the cloud accounts from the list. It supports Drop box, Sky drive, Evernote, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, etc. Though Gmail supports Google Drive by default, this extension will increase the support of cloud storages to your Email account. It has an another important feature, that is you can take a picture or a video right from the application and attach it to your Gmail instantly. This makes this application even more cool.

The files you attach from the cloud services will not go as a link, it will be real files and the recipient can download it right from the email. The file transfers from cloud account to your email will be completely secured and your passwords will not be misused at any cost. You don’t have a separate procedure to attach files after you install this extension. Just like before, click the attach files button in Gmail and you will get a list of Cloud services. Choose the cloud service and locate your file, that is all  it will be transferred from the cloud storage.
