Convert Microsoft Tag File into PNG, JPEG, SVG Image Format with Microsoft Tag Reader

Similar to QR code Microsoft has introduced TAG format, Tag is Microsoft’s technology of encoding data in 2D barcode which uses clusters of colored triangles instead of the square pixels. The main goal of Microsoft tag is instant data sharing amongst users via mobile marketing.

One can create TAG using Microsoft TAG manager and place that tags on packaging, print ads, marketing materials, on your business card or websites and when folks scan a Tag on their smartphones using the free Tag app, it can take them to your mobile site, show a video, download an app, add contact details to their address book, or dial a phone number. You don’t have to worry about people correctly typing in your URL or finding you online – Tag instantly puts the relevant info at their fingertips.

Unfortunately placing .tag format file on website is not possible is it can’t be rendered on any browsers & Microsoft TAG Manager only provides tag rendering either in PDF or RAW format. If you are looking for some tool to convert Microsoft TAG to other image file format then here is freeware tool, Microsoft Tag Reader.
