You may sometime want to access your Linux file system ext2/ext3 from windows this is typical in dual boot environment. In past we had reviewed <a href="http://www.blogsdna.com/1859/access-linux-ext2-ext3-volumes-directly-from-windows-using-ext2-installable-file-system-for-windows.htm"title="Ext IFS" target="_blank">Ext2 IFS and now we are here with yet another similar tool Linux Reader from diskinternals.

Linux Reader plays the role of a bridge between your Windows and Ext2/Ext3 Linux file systems. This easy-to-use tool runs under Windows and allows you to browse Ext2/Ext3 Linux file systems and extract files from there.

The program provides for read-only access and does not allow you to make records in Ext2/Ext3 file system partitions. This guarantees that the interference in an alternative file system will not affect the work of Linux later.
