Adobe AIR for Windows & Mac has been available for quite some time but for Linux it wasn’t available until today. Today Adobe announced first beta release of Adobe Air for Linux.

Download Adobe AIR Beta for Linux.
Please Remove any previously installed Adobe AIR alpha release before proceeding for installation of Adobe AIR beta.
How to Install Adobe AIR on Linux Ubuntu
1) Download Adobe Air Beta here and save it on desktop
2) Open Terminal from (Application -> Accessories -> Terminal)
3) Type following command on Terminal
cd Desktop
chmod +x adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin
./adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin
adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin is the name of installation file of Adobe AIR change.
4) Now you will see following Window

5) Press i Agree and proceed for Adobe Air installation

6) Press Finish After Installation Complets

7) Adobe AIR Application Installer and Uninstaller entries in the menu, under Applications -> Accessories
