RIM (Research in Motion) has released its First ever flip phone in its popular BlackBerry Pearl Smartphone class. This is Smart move from RIM to make its hold even stronger in Smartphone market.

Releasing Blackberry Smartphone in flip form was based on research which showed Seventy percent of the mobile phone users in the United States use a flip. This phone is for those people who loved to have flip phone with Smartphone functionality.

Blackberry Pearl 8220 comes loaded with multimedia features such as a video and music player and a 2-megapixel camera with flash, as well as a web browser and an condensed keyboard.
