Are you a Mac laptop user tired of reaching for your keyboard too often? You probably do it open links in a new tab or use the middle click feature. Developers have recognized this inconvenience and tried making the middle-click options available via the touchpad of Mac notebooks. One such effort was BetterTouch Tool but it proved to be a little too complicated for average Mac notebook users.
Another program named MiddleClick is a much better option.

Your multitouch-lacking Mac notebook cannot do without MiddleClick. It is quite a lightweight application that lets Mac laptop owners use “3 Finger Tapping” or “3 Finger Clicking” as a mouse middle click. Whether one wants to use the “3 Finger Tapping” option or the “3 Finger Clicking” option, can be decided and adjusted by the program’s options.
One feature this application lacks is the customization of the middle click. We cannot make the middle click mean anything we want to i.e. only programs that support the middle click menus will be usable via MiddleClick. More clearly, in Mac OS X we could customize a secondary mouse button – a feature absent in MiddleClick.
Be that as it may, many Mac notebook users will still find MiddleClick to be a greatly helpful application.
