The good news is with the help of the FCC Mobile Broadband Test app (Free), you will be able to “Test the upload speed, download speed, and latency of your mobile broadband connection and share your results with a simple email export.” It seems as if the FCC plans on using this data to better understand the access certain users have or do not have to broadband.
