This would be awesome, but it gives a Java Script Application error that reads as follows: “TypeError: unsafeWindow is undefined” and then my window won’t close and I have to start a new Firefox session altogether.

Check your home page in the Settings:

it probably looks something like this:

http://www.homepage.com | http://www.ebay.com

take off ” | http://www.ebay.com

and you should be left with “http://www.homepage.com”

hope that solves your problem

THIS SOUNDS GREAT, I WONDER IF YOU COULD OPEN DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF FIRE FOX, SAY A CUSTOM BUILD FOR MUTIMEDIA OR SEVERAL CUSTOM BUILDS FOR DIFFERENT SUBJECTS IE SECURITY, SEARCHING, MEDIA, WHATEVER, WHICH WOULD EACH BE OPTIMIZED FOR ITS SPECIFIC ACTION, WITH ITS OWN ADD-ONS AND THEMES TO PUT AN END TO A BROWSER WITH 35 ADD-ONS AND STREAMLINE THE USERS ACTIONS. I AM THINKING ALONG THE LINES OF FASTDIAL ONLY USING FIREFOX BUILDS WITHIN FIREFOX. IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS OR KNOWS IF IT IS POSSIBLE PLEASE RESPOND.
