BlogsDNA has given best post related to Firefox 3. Here is another cool geeky trick for Firefox. Most of the time users have multiple instances of firefox running simultaneously even thought we have nice tabbing feature.

Primary reason of running multiple instances of firefox is that after certain number of tabs got opened in Firefox it becomes really time consuming and boring to scroll thru various tabs to read the content of website.hence end up in opening one more instance of Firefox.

Here is Trick to Open Firefox Windows within Firefox Tab

1) Start you firefox browser (This is a 1st instance of Firefox)

2) Now type below URL in your Address bar

chrome://browser/content/browser.xul

3) Hit Enter Key, Viola!!! Instantly you will get another Firefox window within Firefox Tab

Newly Opened Firefox Window within Firefox tab will behave just like another Firefox instance and you can open another Firefox windows within this Firefox tab.

This will help you to minimise number of Firefox instances running as well as reduced memory consumption.

This would be awesome, but it gives a Java Script Application error that reads as follows: “TypeError: unsafeWindow is undefined” and then my window won’t close and I have to start a new Firefox session altogether.
