For classic video game, JRPG, and new iPhone gaming enthusiasts, the announcement of an iPhone/iPod Touch version of Final Fantasy I & II has got many excited, to say the least. The games might be old having been first release in Japan in 1987 and 1988 by Square Enix for the NES. Makers of the games have released an official trailer for the upcoming iPhone versions. While there is no official release date yet, the trailer says you can expect the games in the App Store “soon”. You can also stay posted to the official Twitter account of Square Enix and the official Final Fantasy for iPhone site. The games will both be available for a reported $9 each and, yes, it will be available in English. See screenshots below.
