Few days back HTC had unveiled HTC Desire with HTC Sense UI at MWC 2010 and immediately after the announcement folks over at MoDaCo started working on porting HTC Desire HTC Sense UI for Nexus One. Considering excitement amongst Nexus One owners on getting hands on this custom ROM, MoDaCo has released first Alpha version of MoDaCo custom ROM “Desire ROM” for Nexus One with HTC sense.
The Desire ROM for Nexus One is almost complete and most phone functionalities works flawlessly leaving couple of issues like FM Radio, Wifi issue and some graphics glitch. One more good news is MoDaCo Desire ROM comes with Flash 10.1.
The ROM has the usual MCR tweaks (tun.ko, openvpn, busybox, dropbear etc.) and is running a custom kernel by teknologist and MoDaCo based on Cyanogen’s excellent source. Himem is enabled.

MoDaCo has taken down the Desire ROM download links as of now to fix the bugs after users reporting boot animation loop on installing Desire Rom on Nexus One.
If you are facing boot loop then here is possible fix for this
flash the boot.img from the zip with “fastboot flash boot boot.img”
