Yahoo still trying hard to get its old image, recently several new services and feature yahoo has added like Yahoo BOSS, Yahoo Zimbra, and Yahoo with Two New Domains for Email. Today Yahoo Launched its Geo location related service fire eagle open for public.
Yahoo Fire Eagle is Storehouse for storing your current Geo location information. You can update your location information directly or with device supporting Fire Eagle. Once this information available with fire eagle you can get geo-related services or social network features.

I’m waiting for high-end GPS enabled phones to get really cheap (8-9k, in the iPhone 2.0 range), or for some cheap Android phones to come up. This is going to be a killer app once your mobile has GPS and is always on the ‘net; I can’t wait.
hey ankit, i agree this service going to be really killer but another aspect of having high-end GPS connection phone at cheap price is still big dream for India.
