Having issues with my email on Nexus one. For the past couple of days email is not downloading. Nothing has changed. All other functions on phone work pretty well. Any advise.

I had the same error, are you using a rooted nexus one ??
If so you need to check this out http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=301729&view=findpost&p=1181137 that topic has loads of help, but be careful you could brick the phone so read it all..

hi guys, please please please help me OUT !

before choosing “apply sdcard:update.zip”

i see the message down the exclamation point that says: E:Can’t open /cache/recover/command

after choosing “apply sdcard:update.zip” i get the following message:
assert failed: apply_patch_chech (“MTD:boot:2093056:1d155a5be2f8cc6d7cef733f87f3bce97be2c3bd:2101248:e7f20e513e5bd5c30e20670e992092296ee731a0″)
E: Error in /sdcard/update/.zip

I’m getting an error as well:

No, this update did NOT wipe the phone. Everything was still there after the update process.

Just wish t-mobile in SRQ(Sarasota,FL) was better. Barely noticed a difference in 3G availability.

What will be with my setting etc. after update? I mean do I need to reinstall apps or rearrange my desktop icons and widgets, etc. or all this will remain as before?

Multi-touch is enabled after updating… still looking for 3G… This phone is better than iPhone in hardware but still have to go a long way in terms of applications and software patches… the competition is on guys…
