Yahoo is trying really hard to get back its old image. Some time back I was feeling like Yahoo is going to end but I think this feeling will soon go away after looking at new way of Yahoo to expand itself e.g Yahoo New Domains, Yahoo BOSS. Recently their was news about acquisition of Zimbra by Yahoo. Today we can see Yahoo announcing its Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop Beta.
Yahoo Zimbra Desktop is open source email application for accessing your Yahoo and other Emails. Zimbra Desktop is supposed to be next generation email application which makes email easy again. Zimbra is available for Windows Mac as well as Linux Operating system.

One of best part of Zimbra is you can work online as well as offline. Messages sent while your offline will be saved in outbox which are sent when you get connected. Zimbra is also available for iPhone.
Currently Zimbra supports AOL,Yahoo Mail & Gmail. Zimbra is still in beta testing mode and its not advisable to use it on production machine.
