Google Chrome On Mac Logo
Google Chrome browser from Google was released on September 5, 2008 for Windows & today after more than a year Google Chrome beta is available for Mac OS X & Linux. In past we had published screenshots & portable Google Chrome for Mac OS X. Where as unofficial chromium build for Linux is already available at PPA repository.

Google Chrome Beta for Mac will run on OS X 10.5 or later only for Linux users Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and openSUSE are supported.

Google Chrome works well with both Gnome and KDE, and is updated via the normal system package manager.

If you’ve already installed the dev channel version, you may need to uninstall that before installing the beta version.

Google goes the Apple way :)
Its nice to see Chrome being made available on other platforms, its a good feeling when I see the familiar Firefox icon in Linux and MAC.

The transition becomes so less when the browser is known.
