It’s frustrating to see when subtitle is out of sync with movie. This happens due to different encoding used to compress video/movie file or part of movie is censored or cut. To help you to correct subtitle timing here is open source tool SubHub.

SubHub is an easy to use, handy post-OCR correction tool specially designed for SRT subtitle files. You can use this application to adjust the timings of the subtitles or to change the file encodings to ANSI, UTF-8, UTF-16 or UTF-16BE.
