Patched ZoneAlarm Released (Fix Internet Connectivity Loss)

ZoneAlarm is one of best Freeware Firewall and Internet Security application available, and millions of users protects their computer with ZoneAlarm Firewall, but 9^th July found to be black day for all ZoneAlarm Windows XP, 2000 users. Microsoft had Released Incremental Patches (Microsoft Update KB951748) for Windows XP, 2000 and Vista on 9^th July. This updates didn’t go well with Zone Alarm resulting in loss of Internet Connectivity.

All those users using ZoneAlarm security software & installed Microsoft Update KB951748 got disconnected from Internet. Internet Connection got blocked without any reason. ZoneLab got aware of this issue immediately after users started downloading MS updates. Only response from ZoneLab was,

Yesterday CheckPoint (ZoneLab) has issued a set of updates which corrects a compatibility issue with the latest Microsoft update (Microsoft Update KB951748). The security firm has posted new versions of its ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite, Pro, Antivirus, Anti-Spyware and Basic Firewall offerings.
