The native VHD (Virtual Hard Disk file format) support in Windows 7 is one surprising feature added by Microsoft. Now you can Create, Mount and Boot from VHD images on Windows 7. You can also create VHD image from Disk Management.
In past we have covered VHD Mount which adds useful VHD command in context menu. Now here is yet another similar tool VHD Attach that adds Attach and Detach option to contextual (aka right-click) menu of Virtual disk (vhd) files.
Additionally VHD Attach can be used as classic utility in order to see various information about virtual disk, even without attaching it.
