There are several desktop based clients for monitoring your Gmail emails. In past we have reviewed up2date desktop client for Gmail and Gmail Manager Firefox extension to manage multiple Gmail accounts today we have got yet another lightweight Gmail notifier, spiffy.

Spiffy is a small utility to check 2 Gmail accounts at the same time. It runs in the system tray and shows a popup when new e-mail arrives. Spiffy is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP.
