How to Uninstall Adobe Flash Player on Windows & Mac

Adobe Flash Player has become important component for your browser which lets you to view animation, videos, graphics, play flash games and much more. However Adobe Flash player is also a biggest culprit in browser crash.

If you have notice your system will become unstable when you attempt to browse websites heavily loaded with flash. In many occasions it’s due to bug or vulnerability in Adobe flash player and fix for this could be simple as upgrading to latest version. If all fails to fix the problem then last resort is to uninstall and completely remove adobe flash player.

Due to recent enhancement in Adobe Flash player you can’t remove it via add/remove programs instead you have to use Adobe Flash Player uninstaller.

Windows: uninstall_flash_player.exe (205 KB)

Mac OS X, version 10.3 and above: uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg (258 KB)

Mac OS X, version 10.2 and below: uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg (1.3 MB)

Mac OS 8.x, 9.x: uninstall_flash_player.hqx

Quit ALL running applications, including all Internet Explorer or other browser windows, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, or other Messenger while uninstalling adobe flash player.

    that’s right. updating the flash player component leads to more bugs and slow loading flash issues. So if you are about to update your flash player you should delete old version 1st.

    i’m fed up of uninstalling and installing flash player… doesn’t seem to be working much ….

     I have windows 7 Professional  32 -bit OS and internet explorer9 .. Can someone suggest which version of Adobe Flash Player is suitable and will work well ?? As none of my applications are working .. i can’t hear any music or anything via you tube or other websites .. thx ..
