How to Completely Remove/Uninstall Megaupload Toolbar

After having difficult in entering Rapidshare Access code. I got another link for downloading the file which I was looking for. And that link was from Megaupload.

In order to download any file from Megaupload website you have to install Megaupload Toolbar and Megaupload Toolbar is some what like spyware.

Issue with Megaupload Toolbar

1) Modifies default search engine of browser

2) User Surfing statistics are collected

3) Browser eats more memory after installing Megaupload toolbar

4) Modifies default Page cannot be displayed page to Megaupload search page

Worst part is that Megaupload Toolbar is not at all useful

Here are steps of how to completely remove/uninstall Megaupload Toolbar

1. Go to Control Panel – Add Remove Programs
2. Now select Megaupload Toolbar and say change/remove
3. Search for megaupload.jar in your Document and setting folder and delete that file along with folder containing that file, see below screen shot

Follow the above steps to completely remove Megaupload Toolbar
