Part of the planned resolution can be to remove and reinstall.  Have tried to make this work.  But someone posts something useful to some people and you call him an idiot?  I think you just painted yourself with the moniker but the thoughtless halfwit response. On Windows 7, it will allow you to remove the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1 and 4 if they are installed.
