Apple nearly follows biweekly cycle for its upcoming iPhone OS beta releases, latest iPhone OS being development in Apple’s lab is OS 3.1 and iPhone OS 3.1 Beta 2 was released on July 15 and today Apple has seeded third beta Build 7C116a of iPhone OS 3.1 to developers.
iPhone OS 3.1 is primarily developed to fixes bugs left out by OS 3.0 but in addition to bug fixes several new features are also spotted like Instruments over Wi-Fi. Along with OS 3.1 beta 3, iPhone SDK Beta 3 (Build 9M2808) is also available for developers subscribed to apple iPhone Dev center.
iPhone Unlockers and jailbreakers must stay away with iPhone OS 3.1 beta as well as final release till iPhone Dev team ready with their tools.
