Windows Live Writer is the best desktop blog publishing application used by many bloggers around world. The biggest advantage of Windows Live Writer is support for many blogging platforms like blogger, wordpress, typepad, windows live spaces, sharepoint etc. Another good feature of Windows Live writer is plugin support.
Today we have got one useful plugin for Windows Live Writer users. Auto Tag Generator is open source plugin for Windows Live Writer which lets you to generate tags from block of text or the whole post.
Auto Tag Generator plugin is useful for those users who find it difficult to list down the tags from blog post. To generate tags, simply highlight all of the text (or a relevant section) and press “Inert -> Auto Tag Generator” in the Insert menu on the right hand side.
The tags are then displayed in a list (shown below)
By clicking on Ok button all generated tags will copied to clipboard which you can past in tags filed to insert generated tags into blog post.
Auto Tag Generator WLR plugin uses Yahoo Term Extraction API which has limitation 5000 request per day from one IP address.
