Yesterday we had reported about Purplera1n jailbreak for iPhone 3GS released by Geohot. The initial release of Purplera1n beta is buggy and doesn’t work on Windows 7, also many users has reported issue on Windows Vista.

Today Geohot has released Purplera1n RC2 which has support for Windows 7 32-bit as well as 64-bit and some kernel patches. However no winterboard support yet.Purplera1n is still in beta use it with caution. If you are not in hurry to jailbreak iPhone 3GS then we suggest you to wait for jailbreaking tool from iPhone Dev team.

Please Note: Stay away from iPhone OS 3.1. You can unlock your iPhone 3GS with ultrasn0w after jailbreaking with Purplera1n RC2.
