Download Ultrasn0w to Unlock iPhone 3G 3.0 Baseband 04.26.08

i have a 3g iphone that is jailbroken on version 2.2.1 and is on a firmware of 04.26.08 how can i unlock my device? will ultrasnow work even though im not on 3.0 OS?

hi. i have an iphone 3g 2.2.1 which i just upgraded to the new 3.0 but the problem is that i heard that the new jail breaking and unlocking software is out but eachtime i download the software it does not work. after following the instructions it does not come on after. please what should i do. can i get the exact site i can download the right one because i cant use my iphone anymore.its locked back and to make it worse it cant be jailbroken like the former version atlist i jailbroke it when it was 2.2.1. please i will really appreciate ur quick response or is the soft ware not out yet?

hi…i’ve done every steps jailbreaking 3g iphone with redsnow 0.7.2 and unlocking it with ultrasn0w tru cydia but everytime i install the ultrasn0w..it keeps telling/poping a message “size mismatch”…why is that so?… and how to solve this third party sim carrier…pls pls pls help…tnx!!!

I have an iPhone 3G 2.2 with baseband 02.28.00 jailbreaked with yellowsn0w, i tried EVERYTHING or almost (iTunes, redsn0w, QuickPWN 2.25-2/2.2-1)… i just cant upgrade or downgrade the firmware and baseband.

OK, ran redsn0w ok, confused by the instruction above where it says to “add Cydia installer” as it was there after redsn0w, right?

Anyway, neither Cydia or Icy will get ultrasn0w for me so I am stuck with no service for now…..

Is there any other way known to run ultrasn0w as I have internet via Safari and wireless?

if you use ultrasn0w to unlock open cydia .manage>source>edit>add then type repo666.ultasn0w.com only if using a jailbroken phone

if you use purplerain to jailbreak i think this is the better for the 3gs never has crashed for me do the sae as above only add apt.geohot.com to your sources then run it will unlock phone from your phone

CYDIA or ICY just will not get the file for me – I think it is “proxy” problem, will let you know in a few days when I get back to civilization.

YAH !! got it, CYDIA website must have been unavailable for me, but when it did connect, downloaded a lot of updates, then able to ultrasn0w, no problem, now have ex-Aussie iPhone working on Saudi Arabia MOBILY network !!!

guys none of the games and app working on fw2.2.1 are working on 3.0 even after jailbreak. pl help me wat to do. wr to find apps n games for itouch 3.0… without it ipod looks so boar man..
