Fix Remove rundtl.exe Spyware Adware

Rundtl.exe Spyware Adware (PuA.SmartBrowser.PornClicker), After booting my Personal Computer Rundtl.exe automatically got started from folder C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\SANDIP\APPLICATION DATA\ADOBE\RUNDTL.EXE and was trying to connect to internet with one of hijacked process name iexplorer .exe and this exe was connecting to one of server located at this IP address 62.219.250.67 at port 80

I got suspicious about Rundtl.exe and iexeplorer.exe I was unsure how this executables got started and why they are trying to connect to those IP at port 80. When I looked up at that IP it was some site providing web browser for searching related to sex. i had never heard about this browser and after looking at that website, I got confirmed to myself that this is some kind of Spyware

This spyware was running from the Adobe folder and was trying to download some more dll and executables thanks to scotty a winpatrol software for windows I got alert message of this exe trying to add themselves in auto startup.

After looking on google I got many site reporting rundtl.exe as spyware. Thought I didn’t got any proper solution for removing this spyware. I followed below steps to remove rundtl.exe spyware.

Steps for rundtl.exe spyware/adware removal

1. kill the process name iexplorer.exe via Alt+Ctl+Del Task Manager
2. Delete key AdobeManager from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ This registry key has value “C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Adobe\rundtl.exe –sys”
3. Delete the file rundtl.exe from C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Adobe\
