iPhone OS 3.0 Jailbreak Tool PwnageTool & QuickPWN Coming This Week

Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0

Here comes the big week for iPhone & iPodTouch users. Soon Apple is going to release Firmware 3.0 for iPhone 3G, 2G and iPod Touch users on June 17th & New iPhone, iPhone 3G S on 19th June. iPhone users will have upgrade to OS 3.0 for free but iPod Touch users will need to pay 19$ for upgrade.

The curiosity of iPhone & iPod Touch users is in ability to jailbreak iPhone 3G Os 3.0. A complete blog post clearing jailbreak doubts of number iPhone users is up on iPhone Dev Team’s blog.

The good news is here, iPhone Dev team are in the middle of testing PwnageTool 3.0 and QuickPwn tools, which will work with iTunes 8.2. The jailbreak of course continues to work on 3.0 for all devices it ever worked on, thanks due the Pwnage 2.0 technique released. The jailbreak tools will be released only after Apple releases iPhone OS 3.0.

Update :- Download PwnageTool 3.0 to Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0.

    You know it says they have cleared up doubts but i am still a little fuzzy.

    So there is not a jailbreak yet from the dev team? Reading the post on their sites and from other users it seems like their is.

    Now does this mean that my current jailbreak works with the update? It seems like it does but i don’t want to risk it.

    sooooo….. the new quickpwn 3.0 jailbreak tool will not work with itunes 8.2 for sure or have they fixed the ability to use it??? i can’t wait for the jailbreak!!!!! 8-)

    Cathy, there are tons of tutorials around the web….but check out iclarified.com, and modmyi.com as they are real community friendly, have full instructional tutorials and guides, and very up to date and knowledgeable…

    is it just me or does the upgrade for cydia on redsn0w 0.7.2 not work, cuz every time i try to update cydia it has the stupid error which i do not feel like typing out, but it is pissing me off a lot…… i am very good when it comes to computers so dont hold back and plz anything if you tried it and it worked please tell what you did or i am going to have to wait for a whole other jailbreak in which i am not very patient!!!!!! plz help!!!!

    Did it in 15 min. Works fine using red snow on a 2G iPhone. Most of the old software is still on the phone.

    Never mind i found out that you can only have one or the other icy or cydia and i would prefer cydia but thanks anyways everybody.

    you can go to redsn0w.com and then click on the link at the bottom. it should take you to the blog site and then just click on one of the torrent mirrors either for windows or mac make sure you only use cydia not icy.
