Search Similar Images with TinEye Reverse Image Search Engine

You may some time need to search for origin of particular image, different versions of image available on internet or similar images in this case you may find Google image search is not that much useful as there is no way to specify which you image you want to search.
Here is cool web service TinEye for this purpose. Tineye is reverse image search engine. You just need to upload image or specify image url and tineye will let you to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions.
The search result from tineye is exceptionally better then any other image search engine just because tineye uses image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks.
Tineye also provides IE, Firefox plugin to let you search on tineye right from your browser context menu.

This service is great, i’ve been using it since the early stages (private beta) and it rarely let’s me down. Although i hadn’t realized it went public. Thanks for spreading the word :)
