Redsn0w 0.3 Jailbreak iPod Touch 2GFirst iPod Touch 2G jailbreak tool Redsn0w is slowly making its way to final version. With Initial release of redsn0w it was only possible to tethered jailbreak iPod Touch 2g but recent Redsn0w beta release has made Untethered iPod touch 2g jailbreak possible however redsn0w beta requires experts hands to operate and command line knowledge.

If you are not comfortable with command line then its advisable to wait for final redsn0w release. iPhone Dev team has recently upgraded redsn0w beta to redsn0w 3.0 and is available for download. No information above redsn0w 3.0 changelog or bug fixes is available.

    Hey guys, I´ve download this program to unblock a Ipod touch Version 2.1.1 and I does all steps in the program, it goes well but in the final, the itunes not read the ipod information, it seems like dont have a software (the ipod)

    I jailbroke my ipod following every step but when it came to restarting the ipod, the ipod would not turn on and it wont connect to the computer or anything:( any ideas please? really need help on this one :(

    @mike nop it isn’t there is no risk at all for jailbreaking, well i was panic too but i tried the DFU mode again and its work, my ipod is not die, so just try the method again and it will working great.
