iPod Touch 2G Firmware 3.0 Leaked

Leaking of internal and beta builds becoming more frequent now, yesterday immediately after apple has announced and distributed iPhone and iPod Touch Firmware 3.0, iPhone 3G Firmware 3.0 was leaked on Torrent websites. Although its beta version of iPhone 3G OS 3.0 but still it has all those features presented by Apple at Mac Worldexpo 2009.

Added to this Dev Teams blog post on successful jailbreak of Firmware 3.0 has encouraged users to download and upgrade iPhone and iPod Touch to Firmware 3.0. However Beta version of Firmware 3.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch is only available for users of iPhone Dev Center Program subscriber.

As said earlier leaking trend is more frequent now and in matter of time iPod Touch Firmware 3.0 also got leaked and available for download on popular torrent website.

Download iPod Touch Firmware 3.0 (OS 3.0)

Look up on popular Torrent website and I am sure you will get it.

Please note:- leaked firmware 3.0 is part of development branch also users are reporting having issue while trying to synching with iTunes. You may need to disconnect from internet when you attempt to Sync with iTunes.

    Hi, I’ve already done my 3.0 upgrade thanks to a firmware I found in one of those torrent sites. But, as you said, I’ve to be a developer to sync my music and do all that sort of things. So, after seen the new version (that don’t impressed me so much), I’ve realised that itunes doesn’t restores the ipod touch to the 2.2.1 because of an unknown error (21). What can I do?

    Rafael Vilarrasa, you don’t need to be a developer to do anything on your iPod all you need to do is disconnect your computer from the internet when you connect your iPod. If you really want to restore you iPod all you need to do is put it into dfu mode and restore to your original firmware.

    Hey Matthew. If you have a mac then you hit the ctl/options button. IS IT POSSIBLE TO JAILBREAK THE IPOD TOUCH 2G WITH 3.0 FIRMWARE???????!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ANSWER.

    You will be able to jailbreak OS 3.0, once the jailbreak gets written, which will probably be after 3.0 gets released to the public in June.
