Clipboard is where our copied contents stored temporarily in a device. We all know that the default Clipboard app, can hold only one information at a time and the existing content will be automatically deleted when you copy a new data. Apart from the default Clipboard app, there are plenty of third party clipboard apps available for PC and Mobile devices. Copy Contents is one such app for Windows, which lets you quickly copy the contents of a text file and an image without opening it. Here’s how it works.
Step 1: Copy content is a free application for Windows and you can download the app using the link below. It is a very small application and the installation will be pretty quick
Step 2: Once you complete the installation, the “Copy Contents” option will be added to the Right-Click Context menu as shown in the screenshot above. Normally, we copy a file or content using the “Ctrl+C” button on our keyboard or by using the Right-Click Context menu.
After you install the app, if you use the keyboard shortcut to copy a file, it will work as usual. You can access the app only from the Right-Click Context menu.
Step 3: If you want to copy the entire content of text file, just click on the text file icon and select “Copy Contents” options in the menu. Now all the contents of the file will be copied to the clipboard.
Step 4: The same procedure applies to a bunch of images in a folder. You can copy all the images in a folder without opening it. This will be very helpful for photographers and designers to quickly copy images from different folders.
It is a very simple application and uses very less memory on your hard disk. So, you can use both the default copy function and this Copy Content feature whenever you need.
