Windows 7 Build 7048 Changes List

Last week we saw two Windows 7 Builds, 7022 & 7048 getting leaked both 32-bit and 64-bit version. One thing is sure about all windows 7 leakages is as soon as Microsoft Releases Windows 7 builds to its testers and close partners, this builds makes its way to torrent websites.

We are not sure whether Microsoft will be allowing Windows 7 RC for public download or not. So only closest build to Microsoft RC and leaked on internet is Windows 7 build 7048 which can tell us what changes and features are coming in Windows 7 RC.

Paul Thurrott, from Winsupersite has noted some of the changes present in Windows 7 Build 7048.

1. New Pictures and Wallpapers

2. New Sounds Schemes :- A number of new sounds schemes are added which includes Afternoon, Calligraphy, Characters, Cityscape, delta, Festival, Garden, Heritage, Landscape, Quirky, Raga, Savanna, and Sonata etc.

3. New Icons : Number of New icons are added in this build and also icons of Calculator, Paint, Windows DVD Maker are changes from previous Build

4. Revamped Windows 7 Photo Viewer which is now styled like Windows 7 and not Windows Vista.

5. Send Feedback link removed from in Windows

6. Start Menu Profile Picture Opens Profiles folder and not Libraries

7. Windows Flip with Aero Integration.

While switching between various opened application windows with ALT+Tab shortcut an Aero Peek effect is added.
