Internet Explorer 8 Logo

Yesterday we saw two windows 7 build, Windows 7 Build 7048 and Windows 7 Build 7022 got leaked. Unfortunately these build are x64 hence it can’t be installed on 32-bit Processor. Microsoft has recently handed Widnows 7 Build 7048 to its selected pool of testers and close partners, hence not all new features of Window 7 build 7048 are explored yet.

We have already published the list of all new features & changes of windows 7 RC which can be found in Windows 7 Build 7048 as its part of Windows 7 RC branch. Here is one interesting finding from Crise holmes and Braynt (Windows 7 Tester), Internet Explorer 8 Can be Uninstalled and removed from Windows 7 Build 7048.

We are not talking of any third party removal tool or utility. Windows 7 Build 7048 control panel has option for uninstalling and removing Internet Explorer 8 from Windows 7. Since this feature was not present in Windows 7 Beta its difficult to say whether this will become permanent feature of windows 7 RC or not.
