Macintosh has got lots of hidden features in it. Some of the users might want to share their screens or particular portion of it. Lots of third party applications available in the apps market to take screenshot. Apple provides an in-built feature to do that. It’s so simple to take the screenshots with the keyboard shortcuts. It lets the users to take the full screenshot, particular portion, single window or menu bar.
Apple has kept perfect key combinations to take screenshots on MAC. To do this, no need to open any applications explicitly. The key combinations will do the best. The screenshots will be saved on desktop screen by default. It will be named automatically with date and time to sort them easily. It can be opened with Preview app or any other Image editing tools. Here are the instructions to do so.
For Full Screen:
Step 1:
Press Shift + Command + 3
For Part of a screen:
Step 1:
Press Shift + Command + 4
Step 2:
Drag the crosshair pointer to the desired area
Step 3:
Release the keys, While having kept the Mouse / Trackpad pressed, Press Shift / Option / Spacebar to resize the region
For Single Window / Menu:
Step 1:
Press Shift + Command + 4
Step 2:
Press Spacebar. Click on any window / menu with the camera pointer
