Dropbox and Google Drive are two of the most used services that are being used right now. There are times when you need to save important links, pictures, PDF’s etc to cloud. Let’s take an example of a PDF, the usual steps that you had to go through are downloading the file, saving it, logging in your cloud account and uploading it there. We stumbled upon an awesome Chrome extension that saves you from all that hassle.
Ballloon gives you the ability to do all that with couple of right clicks. Here’s what you need to do.
After installing the Ballloon Chrome extension, right click on a link, picture or a PDF that you want to save to your Dropbox or Google Drive.
You’ll notice a ‘Save Link to’ option. Clicking / bringing your mouse over will get you couple of options. Click on either Dropbox or Google Drive and it will save that link to your preferred cloud space automatically.
You would need to authorize your account / sign in.
After you’ve done that, it will automatically save that link (or an image / PDF) to your selected account.
All you need to do is log in to your account and you’ll notice a new folder named “Ballloon”. All your saved files will be there.
Conclusion, it’s a dead simple app that works perfectly. I’m guessing it “might” not be perfect since it’s in beta but I haven’t found anything that’s this much simple and works!
