Whenever you install/reinstall windows live writer you need configure it first, which includes blog URL, Password, Theme files, Plugins etc. Incase if you use multiple computers then on each machine you have manually configure WLW. Windows Live Writer Backup (WLWBackup) is backup utility for Windows Live Writer, which can backup your blog settings, posts and plugin of your preconfigured windows live writer. You can also restore this backup into any Window Live Writer installation.

    I am using WLW and totally satisfied with the performance, i really like its amazing video and image adding feature, i also use Zemanta plugin which easily suggest and insert image in the post. Thanks for sharing the info.
