In our daily busy schedule, we often forget the important things to be completed on that day. That’s why, we have plenty of task managing apps out there to remind us, to complete the tasks on time. Previously, I’ve written about an excellent follow up tool to manage your tasks and an app to create sharable to-do lists for groups. Today I’ve come with a new Android application called “Shifu”, which analyzes your mobile usage and remind you the tasks when you are free. It reminds the tasks based on different factors like location, time, people, network, etc. Here’s how it works.
Shifu is a free task managing app for Android, can be downloaded from the Google play store using the link below. Once you install the app, it will ask you to connect with your Facebook or Google+ account to start with it. First, it will show you the features and instructions to use the app. After completing it, you will be redirected to the homepage. It will analyze your call log and remind you about the missed calls in the app’s home page. Also, about the people who didn’t pick your calls. So, in your free time you can open the app and check for whom you need to call back.
At the bottom of the homepage, you can see a “+” button, which helps you to set reminders based on different factors as I said before. For instance, if you want to do a task on a particular location, you can use the “Location” option in the list and set a reminder, using your GPS the app will pop up a reminder when you reach that location. Similar to that you can set reminders when you connect to a particular network, on call with a particular person and on different timings. It is one of the coolest features of this app which reminds helps you to complete the tasks quickly and easily.
There will be a swipeable sidebar, which carries all the reminders you have created. You can edit or delete those reminders from there. Access “Settings” of the app from the right top corner. It lets you change the app’s background wallpaper and the reminder sound. Another important option in the app is, in the homepage you have a swipeable timer. There you can set how much free time you have and the app will suggest what are the tasks you can do within that time. So, you can stay productive all the day. Try this app in your Android devices and share your experience with us in the comments. Thanks for reading, do share this post with your friends.
