WordPress 2.7.1 RC 1 Released to WordPress Testers (Release Candidate 1)

WordPress has seen many version updates in year 2008 with current stable release of WordPress 2.7 and here is first update for year 2009. As per Ryan Boren’s mail in the WP-Testers list, WordPress 2.7.1 RC 1 is officially released earlier this week to Wordpress Testers.
WordPress 2.7.1 RC 1has fixes for bugs left in WordPress 2.7.1 Beta 1. Here is list of all the fixes addressed in WordPress 2.7.1 RC 1.
WordPress 2.7.1 RC 1 Bug Fixes List
1. URL column in Edit Links removes www. from domains that end in www
2. Theme preview fails when theme in subdirectory
3. ‘Draft Saved’ current_time not reflecting timezone setting in the edit area
4. Revisions do not respect time zone offset
5. Canonical redirect of feed URLs with suffixes is wrong
6. index.php file in the plugins folder makes the Dashboard fail
With This first Release Candidate for WordPress 2.7.1 we are slowly moving towards final release of WordPress 2.7.1.
Please Note: Do not update your live blog to WordPress 2.7.1 RC 1, as it may have bugs which could result inyour blog database corruption.
