I am a user of MOBILY Iphone 3G 8GB also and had updated my Iphone through iTunes 8.0.2 with Firmware 2.2.1 one day after purchasing my Iphone and it was not LOCKED. Here is some TIPS to add MP3's to your Iphone. First make sure that your iTunes is empty and nothing on the list. Then add at least 5 MP3 to iTunes and after that SYNC your Iphone manually using MUSIC and click Recently Added and SYNC... Thats it you have your MP3 on your Iphone. GOOD LUCK NO … it will NOT LOCKED your Iphone.
