hey im having a problem with jailbreaking my phone i have 2.2.1 and i dont want to update to the 3.0 just yet so as i try to jailbreaKmy phone everything works but when it gets to the part to reboot to hold the home down its just stay there without rebooting someone please help me out

Hello: I have a doubt, the version of my itunes is 8.1.1.10 and in my ipod touch the version is 2.2.1 but when I run the quikpwn and I have to select the .ipsw file it apears only this file “iPod2,1_2.2.1_5H11a_Restore.ipsw” and the program send a message like this. “Fimrware error string” could you help me. What can I do to jailbreak mi ipod?

Ive tried to restore to the firmware selected, but itunes is giving me an error message 1013, which I got from apple is downgrading to a previous version. Which is the correct firmware to use on my iphone 3G to not avoid this same error?? Thanks.
